QUALIFICATION UNIT CONTENT
The qualification aims to provide learners with the knowledge and skills to understand the roles, responsibilities, and relationships in education and training. The units covered in this qualification include:

Deliver education and training to individuals and/or groups in an environment/subject, in which they are technically competent
Understand and support the process of assessment
Learners must complete the three mandatory units:

LEARNING METHOD
BLENDED / PART-TIME
The course offers a blended/part-time learning method or a distance learning method.
For the blended learning method, learners will participate in webinars, complete e-learning modules and e-manuals online, and attend in-person workshops for practical training and assessment/microteaching. The duration of the course is approximately 3 weeks, with one scheduled webinar (4 hours) and one in-person workshop (8 hours).
For the distance learning method, learners will engage in online learning through webinars and e-learning modules. They have a 12-month period to complete the course at their own pace.
DURATION
APPROX. 3 WEEKS
Blended learning method: Our blended learning approach combines online learning and face-to-face workshops. The course duration is approximately 3 weeks. During this time, learners will:
Participate in 1 scheduled webinar, which lasts approximately 4 hours.
Attend 1 in-person workshop, which lasts approximately 8 hours.
The workshop includes hands-on practice and a microteaching assessment.
Prior to the workshop, learners should complete the e-learning modules and e-manual provided online to build a strong foundation for the practical components of the course.
Course schedules, including webinars and workshops, are typically offered on weekends, but may vary based on location. You can refer to our course timetable for specific scheduling information.
Distance learning method: Our online courses provide flexible learning options with 24/7 access to course materials and resources. You'll have a 12-month period to complete the course, allowing you to progress at your own pace and schedule.

ASSESSMENT METHOD
This course is assessed through a combination of written assignments and a practical demonstration. The written assignments consist of three workbooks, each containing a set of questions that require learners to provide detailed responses of approximately 250 words in length. The practical assessment involves the development and delivery of a 20-minute lesson on a topic of the learner's choice, where learners will demonstrate their understanding of the course content and their ability to apply it in a real-world setting.

Practical Demonstration/Assignment - Face-To-Face
Assignments: Learners are expected to complete a series of written assignments for each section of the course. The assignments should demonstrate an understanding of the course material and its application in real-world teaching scenarios. Feedback will be provided by the instructor, and learners will have the opportunity to revise and resubmit assignments as needed.
Microteaching: The final assessment for the course is a microteaching session, in which learners will deliver a 20-minute lesson on a topic of their choice. The microteaching should demonstrate the concepts and skills covered in the course, including effective lesson planning, delivery of inclusive instruction, and assessment of learners. Learners will also need to provide written materials such as a lesson plan, scheme of work, and evaluations of their own performance.
For distance learners, the microteaching session can be recorded and delivered in the workplace, classroom, or even at their own home, and email it to their tutor for marking, but they must have a real learner present. This allows for flexibility in the assessment process and ensures that learners are able to apply their knowledge and skills in a real-world setting.
